A faint flash of lightning lights up the northern skyline.

You can’t really tell from the above photo, but a thunderstorm replete with flashes of lightning is currently rolling across the area north of Boston. Being on the 15th floor of an apartment building in one of the highest areas of Boston, I get to enjoy the show from my balcony. (Naturally I’m taking pictures of it and blogging about it rather than simply watching it.)

Reminds me of the saying, “What is below does not know what is above, but what is above does know what is below.” Grateful for being on this 15th floor balcony right now for that reason.
