S. Thomas Aquinas

Today is the feast day of one of the Church’s heavy hitters: St. Thomas Aquinas. He is known as the Universal or Communal Doctor of the Church for the soundness of his philosophy and theology, as well as the Angelic Doctor for his perfect chastity. He’s my confirmation patron, so I had to give him a shoutout here on the blog. Also, most of my friends and I have been trying to reach up to his mind the past few years, also making him worthy of mention. Hopefully one day we’ll get to that mind… people have been trying for the last seven centuries or so without having succeeded, but that’s no reason to stop trying!
