Soccer state title game

I am currently on one of three buses headed down to Columbus to root on St. Ignatius in the Division I soccer state title game. This year will be the fourth year in a row that the Wildcats have made the title game. They have won two of those three (08 and 10), losing the 09 match in OT penalty kicks (that is, in lame fashion). Anticipation is high for title 3 in 4 years.

We will be playing Olentangy from Columbus. Apparently they began 1-2-2 but have been on fire ever since. They have a lot of momentum, and essentially a home field advantage, being from C-bus.Thankfully we have two and a half buses-full of fans, almost entirely students, to cheer the soccer Cats on.

Check out the St. Ignatius Broadcast network, @SIHSSports on twitter, and possibly a local Ohio sports network to follow the game.

Our Lady of Victory, pray for us!
